Our client, a leading multinational company within the commodities trading industry, is looking for a Trade Operations Executive to join their growing team in Singapore.
As part of a collaborative Trade Operations team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of physical, containerized commodity trades, working closely with traders, customers, suppliers, banks, shipping partners and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trade Operations professional looking to further develop their career within an established and reputable commodities organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commodities trading / trade operations
- Experience handling containerized shipments is essential; exposure to metals or other physical commodities will be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Letter of Credit, UCP 600, LC negotiation and Bills of Lading
- Familiarity with trade documentation, shipping processes and international logistics
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
