Special Education Driver
:
Students with special needs no longer ride a bus; they ride with Carepool. Our goal is to make them all feel comfortable. Carepool has created a transportation platform for people with disabilities to get to work and integrate into their communities. We are seeking drivers who want to take consistent rides and build trusting relationships. Make a difference!
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for people with disabilities to work and to participate in their communities
- Maintain safe and secure transport for riders
- Build trusting relationships with consistent customers
- Use your own car on a project basis or drive a partner’s vehicle to earn income while helping others
Qualifications
- Compassionate personality with the ability to read people and solve problems
- A clean driving record (minor tickets may be acceptable)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 5+ years of driving experience
- Experience helping others and/or healthcare-specific experience is preferred
- 1 year of professional driving experience is preferred
