Role Description The Professional Mover role is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include carefully packing, loading, securing, transporting, and unloading household goods, office equipment, and specialty items such as fine art, antiques, and vehicles. The Professional Mover will handle furniture disassembly and reassembly, use moving equipment safely, and follow company procedures to protect client property and maintain high service quality. This role also involves working with team members to plan moves, communicating courteously with clients, completing basic paperwork, and adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines. Professional Movers may assist with local, long-distance, and international shipments, as well as storage and warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work safely, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items; stamina to work full days on-site in varied conditions.
- Attention to Detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional, respectful approach to clients and team members.
- Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team, manage time on jobs, and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred; experience operating moving trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for work orders, labels, and documentation; additional languages are an advantage.
- Prior moving, logistics, warehouse, or delivery experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to safety, including compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
