As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Logistics Planner to play a key role in keeping our nationwide operations running smoothly.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of our operations. You’ll take ownership of planning and coordinating a high-volume, nationwide schedule of templating and installation projects, ensuring our teams, production, and deliveries are aligned for success.
You’ll be working across multiple departments and with external partners, making sure everything runs efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage a high-volume, nationwide schedule for templating and installation teams (direct and subcontractors)
- Review weekly workloads to maintain a consistent and achievable factory production output
- Communicate daily with teams to confirm schedules and adapt to changes
- Coordinate daily and weekly delivery schedules to our Scotland and Sheffield installation hubs
- Work closely with Customer Service and Template and Install Administration teams to plan remedial and rework jobs
- Manage transport planning systems to optimise routes and scheduling
- Liaise logistics haulage companies to ensure smooth operations
- Arrange van hire and agency drivers to meet operational demand
- Oversee the company vehicle fleet
- Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain accurate data and reporting across logistics and supply chain activity
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policiesWhat We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in logistics planning, transport coordination, or a similar role
- Experience managing subcontractors and nationwide operations is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of supply chain and transport planning processes
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
