$60,000 – $72,000 per year

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Logistics Manager to oversee local and international freight operations. This hybrid role combines remote work with in-office collaboration in Delta, BC, and is responsible for ensuring efficient shipment execution, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting operational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee domestic and international shipments by air, ocean, road, and rail.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight partners, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
  • Monitor shipment progress and resolve transportation issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company procedures.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve service levels, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and solutions.
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers and vendors.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics management.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international freight operations.
  • Familiarity with customs procedures, Incoterms, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics or CRM systems.
