Position: Full-Time Wash Bay Attendant
Join Darling Ingredients as a Wash Bay Attendant in Winnipeg, responsible for cleaning trucks and trailers. This full-time role offers an afternoon shift with overtime options.
As a Wash Bay Attendant, you will report to the Logistics Department and participate in vital operations at our Winnipeg facility. Your responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing vehicles, operating tractors to relocate them to the wash bay, and maintaining daily log reports. You’ll also assist truck drivers, sometimes traveling out of province or to rural areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize trucks and trailers on site
• Operate tractors safely within the yard
• Submit weekly log reports for maintenance
• Use high-pressure washing equipment effectively
• Follow all Health and Safety protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; AZ is an asset
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented mindset for cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to assist with overtime shifts
