We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Logistics Coordinator to join our global supply chain team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the seamless coordination of international shipments, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, optimizing transportation processes, and managing relationships with vendors and freight providers. Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of export shipping logistics, including documentation, customs compliance, and freight arrangements.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management, stock availability, and timely order fulfillment for international customers.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle to plan routes, schedule shipments, and monitor delivery progress.
- Conduct root cause analysis on shipment delays or issues, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, freight forwarders (including NVOCC), and 3PL providers to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
- Manage trade compliance by staying current on international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export controls.
- Analyze data using SQL, Excel data analysis tools, and Tableau dashboards to identify trends, forecast demand, and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional communication between procurement, warehouse operations, customer service, and transportation teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Monitor freight costs and pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Support procurement activities related to sourcing materials and negotiating vendor agreements for export-related supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain operations with a focus on export logistics or international trade management.
- Experience in Cargowise preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel (including spreadsheets and data collection), SQL, Tableau or similar visualization tools.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, trade compliance standards, and shipping logistics including NVOCC operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, inventory control systems, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation and compliance paperwork.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between procurement, warehouse operations, customer service, and transportation teams.
- Practicing in a supply chain operations role with exposure to demand planning, procurement strategies, freight cost analysis, and inventory management systems is highly desirable.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
