Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our team. Van driving, route planning, and cargo handling will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and attention to detail make a real impact.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload cargo efficiently using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts and roll-off trucksNavigate using GPS systems to ensure optimal routing and timely deliveriesComply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during operationsSecure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when transporting hazardous or dangerous goodsPerform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any maintenance issues promptlyMaintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirementsExperienceProven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various vehicle types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucksFamiliarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and dangerous goods transportation is highly desirableKnowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling and logistics cargo managementExperience operating manual transmission vehicles and equipment like forklifts when necessary for cargo handlingUnderstanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for over-the-road (OTR) driving routesPrior experience with delivery driver roles involving route planning, load securing, and manual handling techniquesJoin us as a Driver if you thrive on active driving roles that challenge your skills while offering the satisfaction of delivering essential goods safely and efficiently.
