About The Opportunity
We're working with an exciting retail start-up looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to establish their warehouse operation ahead of launch.
This is a rare opportunity to build systems and processes from the ground up and make a lasting impact on the business.
- Designing and setting up the new warehouse to support both retail and e-commerce operations.
- Implementing warehouse processes, inventory controls and storage layouts to ensure an efficient operation.
- Developing SOPs and documentation covering receiving, replenishment, fulfilment and stock management.
- Recruiting, onboarding and setting up a warehouse team for a seven-day operation.
- Establishing freight, courier and supplier relationships while ensuring the warehouse is ready for launch.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience setting up warehouses, distribution centres or greenfield operations from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory management and operational workflows.
- An understanding of how WMS and ERP systems integrate within a retail environment.
- Experience across retail, e-commerce or omnichannel fulfilment operations.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with experience building and leading warehouse teams.
