Job DescriptionWe are hiring for an entry level Carrier Sales Representative with a strong focus on training and development. This role is designed for individuals looking to break into freight brokerage and sales.You will go through a structured, hands-on training program where you will learn how to source carriers, negotiate rates, and manage freight from pickup through delivery. After training, you will transition into managing your own shipments and carrier relationships.
ResponsibilitiesBook and manage carriers for customer freightSecure capacity and support rate negotiationsTrack loads from pickup through deliveryCommunicate with carriers regarding load requirements and updatesMaintain accurate load details in internal systemsEscalate issues and support resolution as neededParticipate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduledWork closely with the Carrier Sales Manager and team
Training ProgramStructured onboarding focused on freight brokerage fundamentalsHands-on training with live loads and real customersDaily coaching on negotiation, carrier sourcing, and operations
