Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the storage, movement, and fulfillment of inventory within a warehouse that supports online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Noon, Jumia, or a brand’s own e-commerce platform). Their role ensures smooth operations between warehouse logistics and the marketplace’s order fulfillment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Track stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for incoming shipments.
Process and prepare orders for shipment.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products.
Monitor and update order status in marketplace systems.
Work with couriers and shipping providers to optimize delivery times.
Resolve shipping delays, lost shipments, or damaged goods.
Ensure compliance with marketplace fulfillment guidelines.
Adhere to the marketplace’s warehouse and fulfillment requirements.
Optimize storage solutions to improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate SKU labeling and barcoding.
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Ensure safety standards and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.
Monitor order processing metrics (e.g., shipping times, return rates).
Generate reports on inventory levels, warehouse efficiency, and fulfillment accuracy.
Recommend improvements to streamline operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse management, logistics, or e-commerce fulfillment.
Familiarity with marketplace platforms (Amazon FBA, Noon, Jumia, etc.).
Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse software.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
