Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining organized inventory, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Unpack, sort, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare outbound orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling accurately
- Operate shipping software and scanners to process orders and track packages
- Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) for pickups and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments to the supervisor
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed
- Support other warehouse functions as directed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer skills; experience with shipping/WMS software a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Day shift hours (specific schedule discussed at interview)
