Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks and trailers, including roll-off trucks.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive various types of trucks and trailers, including roll-off trucks, to transport product to designated locations.
Load and unload freight , ensuring that all cargo is secured properly for safe transport.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, which may including logs of miles driven and hours worked.
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
Communicate effectively with administrative team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Assist with basic maintenance tasks on the truck as needed.
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Ability to handle freight loading and unloading efficiently.
Must be able to lift 75+lbs
Previous experience with roll-off trucks is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in truck driving.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
