Role Description This full-time Truck Driver role is an on-site position based in the Greater Sydney Area. The Truck Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently between designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and adhering to company safety protocols and DOT or local transport regulations. The driver will coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams, respond to delivery changes as needed, and represent the company professionally with customers and the public.
Qualifications
- Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A (or equivalent) and proven Truck Driving experience.
- Experience with Unloading procedures and safe handling of cargo.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and other relevant transport compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform vehicle checks and basic truck maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
- Strong safety awareness, sound judgment, and a clean driving record.
- Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow routes and delivery schedules.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with dispatch and operations teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in regional or long-haul trucking is beneficial.
