Transport Allocator – Side Loader Fleet
Location: Henderson, WA
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced Transport Allocator looking for your next challenge?
We’re partnering with a well-established transport and logistics business in Henderson that is seeking a proactive and organised Transport Allocator to oversee the daily operations of a busy side loader fleet servicing the Perth metropolitan area.
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for coordinating drivers, maximising fleet utilisation, and ensuring containers are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
The Role
- Allocate and coordinate a fleet of side loader trucks and drivers
- Plan daily transport schedules to maximise fleet efficiency
- Liaise with customers, drivers and operations to manage changing priorities
- Monitor delivery performance and respond to operational issues
- Coordinate container collections, deliveries and de-hires
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport legislation
- Maintain accurate transport documentation and scheduling systems
- Build strong working relationships with drivers and customers
About You
- Previous experience as a Transport Allocator, Fleet Allocator or Transport Scheduler
- Experience within container transport, wharf logistics or side loader operations is highly regarded
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Perth metro area
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment
- Confident using transport management systems and Microsoft Office
- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
