Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain and logistics operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory activities, monitoring shipments, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and committed to improving operational efficiency while maintaining excellent service standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily supply chain and logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and order fulfillment.
- Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery status, and resolve logistics issues in collaboration with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation, shipping records, inventory reports, and transportation schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock replenishment, inventory control, and warehouse coordination activities.
- Analyze logistics performance, transportation costs, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare logistics reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator (KPI) summaries for management.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, operations, customer service, and finance teams to support business objectives.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners to ensure service quality.
- Support demand planning, supply planning, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Assist with customs documentation, import/export coordination, and international shipping requirements where applicable.
- Identify operational risks and recommend solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and digital supply chain solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging supply chain technologies, automation, AI-powered logistics tools, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics operations, inventory management, and transportation processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, procurement, demand planning, distribution, and order fulfillment principles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and inventory management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for data analysis and operational reporting.
- Understanding of supply chain analytics, forecasting, inventory optimization, and process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of logistics performance metrics, cost analysis, and KPI reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
