Supervisor Warehouse Jobs in Hodgkins, IL at Global Experience Specialists, LLC
Assist in the coordination and development all operational aspects of all Show-Site operations, which are inclusive of Freight, Logistics and Decorating. Deliver the highest level of customer service in the most efficient manner possible. Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Supervise warehouse employees across multiple departments while ensuring efficient & productive SOPs are followed.
Support the Show site Operations team with staffing, equipment, inventory and transportation requirements.
In conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, ensure DOT compliance is maintained with our CDL drivers & fleet of vehicles.
Demonstrate an understanding of compliance requirements for OSHA, DOT and Safety Requirements, and manage teams to perform in accordance with all regulatory requirements
Coordinate activities with our vendors, transportation partners and facility maintenance staff
Supervise union labor and productivity tracking and reporting processes to maintain high performance standards.
Supervise all operations involving union personnel within the guidelines and spirit of all current contracts & collective bargaining agreements.
Basic understanding of Management Rights and Manage to the agreed upon Collective Bargaining Agreement
Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position
Qualifications:
College degree preferred
Required one (1) to three (3) years in an operational environment
Must demonstrate proficiency in basic financial and computer skills
Strong organizational, planning and communication skills
Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator, a team player and a self-starter understanding team goals.
Work Environment:
Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities
Must be able to work under pressure

Position may require long hours during several months of the year. Position may require long hours during several months of the year. Typically performs work on the warehouse floor, in noisy and dynamic areas
Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
