Role Description The Spedytor role at Magda-Trans Sp. z o.o. is a full-time, on-site position based in Cracow. The Spedytor is responsible for organizing and coordinating domestic and international freight forwarding operations, including planning transport routes, selecting carriers, and monitoring shipment status. Daily tasks include preparing export and transport documentation, negotiating rates and terms with partners, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures. The role involves ongoing communication with customers and transport providers, resolving operational issues, and proactively managing delays or disruptions. The Spedytor also contributes to optimizing logistics processes, maintaining accurate records in internal systems, and supporting continuous improvement of service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of forwarding and freight forwarding processes, including planning and coordinating transport operations.
- Experience with export procedures and documentation, and an understanding of international trade and customs requirements.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and the ability to manage client expectations.
- Familiarity with freight transportation modes (road, sea, air) and relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Cracow and collaborate effectively with operational and administrative teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant logistics or ERP systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Practical knowledge of English or another foreign language used in international transport is an advantage.
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational role is preferred.
