Job Summary
The Senior Director, Pasha Logistics Washington provides strategic leadership for multi-location freight and transload operations, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, safety, and labor relations while driving business development and contributing to enterprise logistics strategies.
Primary Objectives
- Develop, adapt, and drive functional execution of operational plans and contribute to the development of long-term logistics strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
- Develop and maintain accountability for multi-year budgets, performance targets, and KPIs for a strategically important logistics function.
- Build and sustain strong customer, carrier, and labor relationships to support business growth, operational efficiency, and organizational success.
- Provide leadership and direction through management teams to achieve operational, financial, and strategic objectives across multiple sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, carriers, and key stakeholders to expand market presence and enhance service delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and service expansions to support long-term growth.
- Lead geographically dispersed logistics operations ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and objectives.
- Develop and execute multi-year operational and financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, safety, compliance, and profitability across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and environmental requirements across all locations.
- Oversee labor relations, including engagement with union leadership and adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
- Monitor and manage site-level P&L performance and provide regular reporting to executive leadership on operational and financial results.
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across all teams.
- Implement lean principles and technology solutions to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues promptly and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies for management and frontline teams.
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in directly-related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
Work Experience
- 10+ years' experience in a senior leadership role within the shipping, logistics, or transportation industry required
- 6+ years' experience in a management position with direct responsibility for managing teams and budgets required
- Experience in a Business Development or Relationship Management role preferred

- Strong operational knowledge of freight, transload, warehouse, and multi-modal logistics processes.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies and build lasting commercial relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate others, resolve conflicts, influence decisions, and lead by example.
- Expertise in labor relations and union engagement, including negotiation and compliance with CBAs.
- Advanced financial acumen, including multi-year budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, DOT compliance, and risk management practices.
- Ability to implement lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.
Zone 2: Starting rate $215,000; up to $250,000 for highly qualified candidates
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 25% of eligible compensation
