Role & Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy (40%)
- Pipeline Management: Build, monitor, and drive all sales activities, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified, and nurtured through the sales pipeline.
- Goal Achievement: Obtain personal targets and the annual set target of the entire sales department.
- Strategic Planning: Close profitable and sustainable customer deals while setting up scientific KPIs for all sales members to follow.
Team Coaching & Development (30%)
- Mentorship: Act as a "Coach" to guide and support all sales members in gaining new business.
- Cultural Leadership: Foster a teamwork spirit and maintain a young, dynamic, and energetic working environment.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team progress against established KPIs.
Market Intelligence & Coordination (30%)
- Market Analysis: Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Align sales efforts with other departments, including pricing decisions and reporting customer feedback to support resolutions.
- Reporting: Regularly review customer portfolios with the team and report directly to the Managing Director.
Requirement
Qualifications
- Experience: Mandatory experience in Freight Forwarding. A background of at least 5 years in management in Shipping, Forwarding, or Logistics is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Foreign Trade, or Maritime (with a major in logistics, port management, or shipping).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to generate profitable business and a target-oriented mindset. Be able to communicate in English.
- Attributes: High level of flexibility, teamwork spirit, and the ability to adapt to a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
