As a Remote Sales Representative you will focus on expanding our client's current customer base. You will also have the opportunity to service those customers' ever-growing transportation needs. Being team-centric yet individually driven will be essential to your continued success.
Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
(Must have experience in Transportation/Freight Sales)
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
- Understand customer needs/requirements and provide them with top notch transportation solutions
- Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments within the logistics industry
Requirements (Must Have)
Experience in Sales (Transportation, Logistics, Freight)
- A winning attitude and determination to succeed
- Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers
- Strong negotiation skills – persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence
- Self-driven with a desire to succeed
- Ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
