Role Description The Regional Sales Manager Monterrey is a full-time, on-site role based in Querétaro, QUE. This position is responsible for developing and managing regional sales strategies to grow PTL’s transportation and logistics services, including truckload, expedited, regional, dedicated, cross-border, and trailer leasing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and negotiating contracts and pricing. The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure service quality, resolve issues, and support customer retention. The role also includes analyzing market trends, tracking performance metrics, and reporting sales results to leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong regional sales, account management, and business development skills in transportation or logistics.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage long sales cycles.
- Experience with cross-border or regional freight solutions is highly beneficial.
- Solid skills in forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English preferred.
- Proven ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel within the region as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
