About The Team
The RC Transport Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing transport operations by collaborating closely with the RC Lead and Coordinator to ensure that all inbound parcels and bulkies for designated hubs are efficiently sorted and loaded onto trucks. This role also manages linehaul dispatch schedules in partnership with third-party logistics (3PL) vendors by booking and requesting trucks and managing billing,
Ultimately, the role ensures that all parcels and shipments are consistently delivered to Hub Operations in a timely manner and guarantee efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
Job Description
- Schedule truck arrival and departure effectively to reduce idle time, utilizing real-time adjustments.
- Develop optimal truck routing and implement strategies to maximize route efficiency and truck utilization while minimizing costs.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with 3PL vendors in line with day-to-day Ops.
- Ensure consistent truck availability for transporting orders to hubs.
- Schedule daily truck call times, considering RC throughput and loading dock availability.
- Handle payment transactions and associated payment processes.
- Coordinate with agency coordinators to oversee agency teams.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly.
- Perform other tasks as required to support RC operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Holder
- At least 3 years related experience in Logistics, Warehouse and Distribution.
- Experience in e-commerce fulfillment is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in Google Suite (Doc, Sheet, Slide)
- Proven experience in transportation logistics; focus on linehaul operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal teams, truckers, and drivers.
- Has held a leadership role preferably in a warehouse or hub environment
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in the designated Cluster
- Able to do shift work depending on agreed team schedules
- Must have a continuous learning mindset; able to do administrative and other tasks in hub operations
