Join the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh as a Public Works Equipment Operator. This full-time role focuses on maintenance, road work, and snow removal operations across the Township.
In this role, you will report to the Public Works Superintendent and contribute to various maintenance tasks. Your work will ensure the safe and efficient operation of snow and ice management systems and contribute to the upkeep of Township properties and roads.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage snow and ice removal for safe travel
• Assist in road construction and repair projects
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment as needed
• Be available for on-call shifts to support public works
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines in all operations
Requirements:
• Class AZ or DZ Driver’s License is essential
• Grader operation experience will be considered an asset
• High standard of safety and efficiency in tasks
