At McFall Fuel, our planners are the heartbeat of our operation. As demand continues to increase across our regions, we're expanding our planning team and looking for experienced, motivated Planners to join us in multiple locations across New Zealand.

You'll be part of an established, high-performing planning team, working in a collaborative virtual environment that keeps our drivers moving, our customers serviced, and our operations running at their best.
About The Role
This is a critical role where you'll take ownership of scheduling and coordinating fuel deliveries across your region.
You'll balance efficiency, safety, and customer needs, making smart decisions in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Working on a 4 on, 2 off day shift rotation, you'll enjoy structure and consistency, while being part of a team that supports each other across regions.
In This Role, You Will
- Plan and optimise delivery schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise delays
- Coordinate closely with drivers, terminal staff, and sales teams
- Manage daily operational challenges and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Monitor performance and continuously improve planning outcomes
- Keep safety front of mind, ensuring compliance with NZTA and internal standards
- Build strong working relationships across a geographically dispersed team

What You'll Bring
You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys problem-solving in real time. You have experience in logistics, transport and operational planning. You bring strong scheduling and coordination skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritise and adapt quickly. Safety is at the forefront to how you operate and you have the ability to build strong relationships with drivers and operational teams with great communication and a collaborative mindset.
