Job Description
Strickland’s Portion Pak is a rapidly growing food distributor, and we want great employees that can grow with us! We’re currently looking for a part-time warehouse associate to help with our receiving and order fulfillment to work in our freezer and warehouse.
Compensation and Benefits
- $16 – $17/hour
Responsibilities
- Order selection; accurately pull the product needed to fulfill customer orders
- Unload inbound freight and verify that the correct product is received
- Rotate stock and put received product into the proper slot
- Safely operate electric pallet jack
- Provide professional customer service and a positive attitude
- Help to maintain a neat, clean, and tidy working environment
- Load and secure freight in an organized manner to facilitate the next day’s deliveries
Requirements
- Availability to work approximately 28 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to squat, crouch, and reach as needed to handle freight
- Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on dolly frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in extreme weather/temperature conditions
- Clean MVR
