Now Hiring: OTR Non-CDL Box Truck Driver
Mercedes & Sons LLC is looking for a dependable, safety-focused driver to run OTR routes in a company-provided box truck (non-CDL, under 26,001 lbs GVWR).
Schedule:
- Out 2–3 weeks at a time, then home for reset time
- Must be comfortable with extended time away from home
What You’ll Do:
- Run over-the-road routes hauling freight in a box truck
- Load/unload and secure freight as needed
- Handle basic logs, load paperwork, and delivery confirmations
- Communicate proactively on ETAs, delays, or issues
- Perform basic pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL — Class C/D acceptable)
- Clean driving record
- 21+ years old
- Able to pass a DOT physical & background check
- Comfortable being on the road for extended stretches (OTR, 2–3 week runs)
- Independent contractor mindset — reliable, self-motivated, safety-first
