Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight.
Duties
Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklift equipment when required.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies during transportation.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers and roll-off trucks is preferred.
Experience in route driving and handling freight efficiently.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
