Job Responsibilities
- Assist in exploring markets for new sources, Goods and Services, etc.
- Assist in reviewing the specification of goods & services, conditions for delivery and payment to ensure they are appropriate.
- Assist to seek supplier quotes as per approved purchase request and prepare quote analysis for management approval.
- Keep contact with suppliers to ensure goods ordered are delivered and service are rendered on time to requesting department and in accordance with approved PR and PO/Service Contracts.
- Assist in keeping contact with/maintenance of supplier and purchase price databases, sources of supplies, goods and services (G&S), contact persons and addresses and provide updates of the database in a regular basis.
- Assist in resolving issues, such as goods defect, damages, return of goods, etc.
- Update work status to requestor
- Issue quotation, PO/Contract for all department approval
- Maintain strong accountability of work performed, records, reports and documentation (Quote, PO, service contract) in accordance with established retention schedules.
- Work closely with transport Agent/Customs department to manage the shipment and customs clearance activities and to ensure custom clearance were processed on time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Marketing or other related field,
- Possess minimum 3-5 year working experience in managing procurement, shipment and customs clearance with Cambodia customs department/Transport agent(s) for import goods and services, and knowledge of the procurement with the power and energy industry or infrastructure would be an asset
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of procurement, technical, Cambodia customs and Tax provision
- Possess team work spirits working well within a team under multi-cultural environment & strict deadline.
- Possess negotiation and analytic skills
- Knowledge of mechanic and electrical engineer would be an asset.
- English proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
