Salary Range: ₱30,000 – ₱40,000
Work Setup: Onsite

The role
The Operations Executive – Air Freight is responsible for managing end-to-end air freight import and export operations while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant shipment execution. This role serves as a key point of coordination between customers, airlines, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless movement of cargo and exceptional customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Air Freight Operations Management
- Manage the complete A-Z process for air import and export shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and issuance of airway bills and shipment documentation.
- Coordinate cargo build-up, tendering, and handover to airlines and carriers within required timelines.
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues and exceptions.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure all operational activities are completed in accordance with company procedures.
- Customer Service & Stakeholder Coordination
- Provide professional, timely, and customer-focused communication for all shipment inquiries and transactions.
- Coordinate closely with customers, airlines, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Provide shipment updates and status reports to customers and stakeholders as required.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and support customer retention efforts.
- Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with company standards and service level expectations.
- Track and maintain shipment issue logs, ensuring timely resolution of operational concerns.
- Identify process improvement opportunities through daily operational reviews.
- Submit at least one cost-saving or efficiency improvement initiative per quarter.
- Prepare KPI dashboards and monthly performance reports for subcontractors and operational activities.
- Prepare corrective action reports (CAR) and 8D reports when required.
- Inventory & Vendor Coordination
- Monitor and control operational materials and supplies used by subcontractors, including packaging and security materials.
- Collaborate closely with transport and vendor management teams to meet customer service requirements and delivery expectations.
- Support vendor performance monitoring and service quality improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with the company's Code of Ethics, Delegation of Authority, and internal audit requirements.
- Adhere to export controls, sanctions regulations, anti-corruption policies, and data protection standards.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations and air cargo documentation requirements.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Administrative & Business Support
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Support departmental reporting and performance monitoring activities.
- Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Equivalent logistics-related certifications will be considered.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in air freight operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of air freight import and export processes.
- Good understanding of airline operations, cargo handling, and air freight documentation requirements.
- Experience working with subcontractors, carriers, and logistics service providers.

Preferred System Knowledge
- CargoWise experience preferred.
- CCLP (Certified Logistics Provider by WiseTech) certification is an advantage.
Language Requirements
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
