The Opportunity
Qube Bulk are seeking an experienced Logistics Superintendent to join the team in Geraldton to support our Midwest Haulage operations across various locations within the region.
The Logistics Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that operational standards are met by leading a team with effective delivery of product supply and haulage services to our client and providing support & leadership on culture and company standards across all site operations.

Qualifications And Experience
To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- Current Drivers Licence – ideally HR or higher
- MUST hold current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
- Must have minimum 5+ years prior working experience within the mining, bulk haulage and/or transport industry
- Broad knowledge of the Mining Logistics, trucking, bulk haulage and/or ports sector with an in-depth knowledge of mobile fleets and associated equipment
- Operations management experience in logistics/transport/mining services industry
- Track record managing a business unit of similar scale, setting and delivering a budget, leading similar size team, negotiating an employee agreement, managing an operation safely
- Capability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
- An understanding of safety & compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including an understanding of the chain of responsibility
- Ability to be flexible & adaptable to work in a demanding environment
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Advanced knowledge & experience with Microsoft applications
- National Police Clearance – dated within 12 months of application
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Good mechanical aptitude
Specific Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and development opportunities to the operation staff, Line Managers and Supervisors
- Manage the compliance of health, safety and environmental obligations and requirements
- Manage the compliance of all customers, quality assurance and documentation and procedural requirements
- Manage cost effective strategies to ensure that contractual requirements are met and business development targets are achieved
- Offer productive training, development & guidance to work crews
- Oversee completion of driver inductions and that they are conducted effectively. Permits and licenses are valid and maintained, total adherence to site and road regulations.
- Liaise professionally with customers, regulatory authorities and suppliers to promote Qube Bulk in a positive way
- Conduct effective, high quality incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that team member’s accountabilities and responsibilities are understood, and employees are delivering to expectation.
- Ensuring staff have skills required to undertake tasks as designated
- Address & implement strategies to rectify performance issues within the team
- Communicate effectively with all drivers, operators & other company personnel
