Stationed in Düsseldorf, the core industrial hub of North Rhine-Westphalia, this position is responsible for the end-to-end operational management of MRO warehousing, trunk transportation suppliers and local fulfillment businesses across Western Germany. The role aims to ensure stable, compliant and high-efficiency supply chain delivery for industrial customers in Germany and broader Western European markets.

3. Core Job Responsibilities
3.1 End-to-End Warehouse Operation Management (MRO Industrial Products Focus)
1. Oversee the end-to-end daily operations of the Düsseldorf local forward warehouse, covering standard inbound inspection, goods putaway, batch order picking, outbound packing and cyclic inventory counting. Establish and optimize warehouse SOPs, ensure high accuracy of SKU inventory data, resolve inventory discrepancies, and drive the optimization and clearance of slow-moving and stagnant inventory.
2. Adapt to the operational characteristics of industrial B2B orders featuring multi-specification, small-batch and high-frequency demands. Optimize internal warehouse picking routes and sorting workflows, manage and operate the JD Industrial CWMS system to ensure real-time and accurate data synchronization, so as to continuously improve warehouse operational efficiency and order fulfillment timeliness.
3. Manage the closed-loop operation of reverse logistics businesses, including customer returns and exchanges, defective goods recycling and cross-border return shipment, effectively mitigating operational losses and reducing overall reverse logistics costs.
3.2 Trunk & Last-Mile Carrier Management
1. Conduct supplier screening, onboarding and performance assessment for local German FTL, LTL and last-mile delivery carriers. Establish a standardized carrier KPI evaluation system covering on-time delivery rate, cargo damage rate, billing accuracy and exception response efficiency. Implement regular performance reviews and supplier dynamic optimization to sustainably reduce regional logistics fulfillment costs.
2. Coordinate cross-border container pickup, post-clearance warehouse transshipment and inter-city trunk transportation across Germany. Allocate transportation resources strategically for urgent manufacturing orders and bulk stock replenishment demands. Identify and resolve full-link logistics anomalies including traffic delays, warehouse congestion, cargo loss and damage, and ensure closed-loop problem management.
3.3 Cost Control, Data Analysis & Process Optimization
1. Compile monthly regional logistics operational analysis reports, covering key metrics such as inventory turnover rate, order fulfillment efficiency, cargo damage compensation, carrier service expenses and unit logistics cost. Conduct in-depth YoY and MoM data analysis, and formulate and implement targeted cost reduction and efficiency enhancement solutions.
2. Collaborate with the European finance team to audit monthly carrier bills and warehouse miscellaneous charges, verify the authenticity and accuracy of fulfillment data, ensure full expense compliance, and control the overall regional logistics budget within targets.
3. Iterate and optimize warehouse and distribution SOPs in strict compliance with local German industrial norms, warehouse safety regulations and customs compliance requirements. Collaborate with headquarters logistics and IT teams to realize localized adaptation and functional optimization of intelligent warehouse management systems and automated operational workflows.
3.4 Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration
1. Collaborate with European sales and customer success teams to align with manufacturing clients’ delivery requirements, accurately forecast order peak periods and seasonal stocking demands, and complete pre-emptive reservation of warehouse space and transportation resources.
2. Cooperate with local customs brokerage partners to standardize the whole process of MRO industrial product import declaration, tariff settlement and compliance filing, and effectively mitigate customs detention and compliance risks.
3. Manage on-site warehouse personnel and temporary outsourced labor resources, conduct standardized operational and safety training, and ensure all on-site activities are implemented in a standardized, compliant and safe manner.
4. Job Requirements & Qualifications
4.1 Hard Requirements
1. Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering or other related disciplines are preferred.
2. Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional logistics operation experience in Europe. Candidates with hands-on experience in MRO industrial logistics, B2B factory warehousing and distribution, or German overseas warehouse and trunk transportation operations are highly preferred. Familiarity with German local warehouse management, freight operation and labor compliance regulations is required.
3. Language Competency: Proficient in business English for daily cross-team and business communication; German proficiency at B2 level or above, capable of independent verbal and written communication with local carriers, warehouse operators, customs authorities and industrial clients.
4. Work Eligibility: Possess a valid German work and residence permit, and be available for long-term on-site work in Düsseldorf.
