This position pays $43,200 + monthly performance bonuses
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide exceptional service and personalized solutions to ensure customer’s needs are being met
Multi-task between various systems and requests by using efficient computer skills and professional communication
Act as a liaison between DLS and our carriers by addressing questions in a timely manner
Achieve a high level of familiarity with the shipping trends and patterns of the customers, their vendors and carriers
Effectively negotiate profitable rates with our carriers
Review the information submitted and accurately enter the data in our system
Quickly and accurately determine a proper course of action based on the shipment details
Inform the carrier of the process and what to expect throughout the process
Consistent follow up on the status of the issue
Process requests efficiently while updating our operating system with any applicable documentation and paperwork
Arrive to work on time and consistently to foster healthy relationships with our customer, carriers and fellow co-workers
Prioritize and resolve issues by utilizing decision-making skills and attention to detail
