We are looking for a ‘Logistics Specialist’ to join our team.

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist – Supplier Management to support our growing supplier network and ensure seamless logistics operations. This role involves vendor management, contract negotiations, market research, and problem-solving across various transportation modes, including trucking, air cargo, LMD (last-mile delivery), and container shipments. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, contract management expertise, and advanced Excel proficiency, along with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Vendor Management:

Identify and onboard new logistics vendors to expand our supplier network.

Conduct market research to assess vendor capabilities, pricing, and service levels.

Manage the contract and NDA processes for trucking, air cargo, LMD, and container shipments.

Negotiate rates and service agreements with vendors to optimize costs and efficiency.

Evaluate supplier performance through weekly/monthly scorecards and take corrective actions when needed.

Logistics Operations & Coordination:

Plan and execute cross-border shipments from Turkey to Europe.

Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transportation.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade laws.

Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays, abnormal issues, and disputes.

Optimize transportation routes and minimize costs while improving lead times.

Manage payment processes and ensure timely vendor settlements.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain detailed cost and vendor performance comparison lists.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements in logistics processes.

Lead and follow up on internal projects, ensuring timely completion and execution.

Prepare and share performance reports with suppliers, adjusting truck allocations based on their KPIs.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics, supplier management, or freight operations.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage contract and NDA processes.

Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Chinese is a plus.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with Turkey-Europe logistics operations is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with cross-border transportation, customs regulations, and international shipping documentation.
