Terminal Generalist | Leading Port & Logistics Operations Team
We’re looking for a Terminal Generalist to support daily operations in a fast-paced port environment. If you have experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse operations, customer service, or terminal operations and thrive in dynamic settings where no two days are the same, this is an excellent opportunity to join a critical operations team that keeps cargo moving efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do:
- Support daily terminal and port operations with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence
- Serve as a central point of contact for drivers, vendors, customers, vessel personnel, and internal teams
- Monitor cargo, container, and shipment activity across multiple operational systems
- Research and resolve shipment, inventory, and container discrepancies
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and vessel teams to ensure smooth cargo movement
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry across multiple platforms
- Provide administrative and operational support as business needs and staffing priorities change
- Adapt to flexible schedules driven by vessel arrivals, departures, and terminal activity
What You Bring:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, dispatch, customer service, administrative support, or terminal operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer proficiency and experience working across multiple software platforms
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing operational needs
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling frequent interruptions
Location: Jacksonville, FL (United States)
Pay: $21 – $23 per hour
