Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Logistics leads transportation, distribution, and supply chain operations to ensure products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with applicable regulations. This role develops logistics strategies, manages external partners, and drives continuous improvement across a multi-site operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to improve service, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations, including international and cross-border shipments.
- Manage relationships with carriers, 3PLs, brokers, and other logistics providers.
- Drive process improvements through data analysis, KPI tracking, and technology utilization.
- Ensure compliance with transportation, customs, and trade regulations.
- Lead and develop logistics personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Experience managing transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics providers.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight operations.
- Experience with contract negotiations, vendor management, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency with ERP, TMS, or WMS systems and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
