About the Role:
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing daily transportation operations to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective arrangements. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, managing drivers and vehicles, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while maintaining smooth transportation processes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transportation plans and routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain relationships with transportation service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Conduct biweekly vehicle inspections, including checking traffic reports, violations, and renewing PVI and registration documents.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-maintained, fueled, and ready for daily use.
- Manage and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Ensure transportation operations comply with safety and security standards.
- Prepare and maintain transportation documentation, including bills, authorization letters, and operational records.
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining service quality.
- Coordinate insurance claims in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Follow up on vehicle maintenance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar transportation or logistics coordination role
- Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, Effective communication, Multitasking ability, Result-oriented mindset
- Kurdish and English languages are mandatory, Arabic language is a Plus
