Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, storage, and delivery of goods. This role requires strong logistical planning skills, the ability to multitask, and a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Coordinate the Booking/transportation of cargo from Suppliers to end users.
  • Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Monitor and track shipments using a logistics system.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage customs clearance and import/export documentation.
  • Provide support for operations when the need arises.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in freight operations, transportation coordination, and supply chain management
  • Proficiency in documentation management, regulatory compliance, and customs procedures
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder interactions
  • Knowledge of logistics software or freight management systems is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Familiarity with industry-specific practices and regulations for logistics and transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
