Responsibilities:
- Negotiate services and quotes with suppliers and carriers.
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries using online logistics platforms and software.
- Communicate with carriers and suppliers via email and phone to ensure timely delivery.
- Track and update shipment statuses in the company's Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Resolve logistics issues remotely to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Collaborate with the team virtually to optimize logistics processes and efficiency.
- Problem-solve transportation-related issues and conduct emergency assessments.
Preferred Skills & Tools:
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as DAT Broker and OTM.
- Experience with online logistics platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot logistics challenges effectively.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Fluent English, both verbal and written.
- Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset.
- High level of motivation and persistence.
- Energetic and upbeat.
- Team player.
- Willing to listen to feedback and improve.
