ROLESUMMARYThe Logistics Associatesupports the

optimization

of supply chain processes for Retail Discount by assisting in the movement of goods and materials fromsuppliers to customers. This role involves coordinating theday-to-day operations of Sourcing Hubs, liaising with internalteams and external stakeholders, and helping to improve logistics,replenishment, and distribution activities. The Logistics Coordinator ensures the efficient and timely delivery of products,contributing to the overall effectiveness of the supply chain andhelping to meet business objectives.

ROLEPROFILEAssist inimplementing supply chain plans.

Support supplychain solutions to meet merchandise and store operationalneeds.

Address risks within the supply chain toensure

safe handling

and operational efficiency ofinventory.

Coordinate and assists with privatelabel supply chain and inventoryprocesses.

Coordinate with sourcing hubs acrossregions to drive cost-effective logisticssolutions.

Monitor logistics operations tominimize delays, prevent stockouts, and optimize resourceallocation.

Ensure timely stock replenishmentand manage distribution center stock days to meet businessgoals.

Support the creation and communicationof a database to ensure supplier compliance with customsrequirements.

REQUIREMENTSBachelor’sdegree in supply chain or businessadministration2 years of experience in asimilar role Strong business

1.Supply Chain Knowledge Logistics Management :

Understanding the entire process ofmoving goods from suppliers to customers, including warehousing,inventory, anddistribution.

Inventory Management

:

Ensuring that stock levels areoptimized, and orders are filled accurately and ontime.

Route Planning:

Knowledge of how to plan the mostefficient routes for deliveries or shipments to reduce time andcost.

2. Organizationand Coordination Attentionto  Detail:

Tracking orders and shipments to ensurethey are processed correctly andaccurately.

Multitasking

:

Managing multiple tasks such as tracking orders, arrangingdeliveries, and updating inventoriessimultaneously.

Record-Keeping:

Keeping accurate records of shipments, deliveries, stock levels,and other logistics-relateddocumentation.

Technology Proficiency

Logistics Software :

Proficiency in using logistics managementsoftware (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS) to track inventory,shipments, and deliveries.

ERPSystems:

Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for managing businessprocesses.

Barcoding and RFIDSystems:

Knowledge of systems for tracking productsand shipments using barcodes or RFIDtags.
