Position: HGV Class 1 Driver – Water Tanker (Days, Nights & Tramping)
Location: Sible Hedingham
Driver Hire Colchester is recruiting several HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne.
This role involves operating a water tanker, travelling to and from various customer sites and destinations across the UK. The successful candidates must be flexible, as night shifts and regular tramping are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a Class 1 water tanker.
* Transport water between customer sites and designated locations.
* Complete all required vehicle checks and paperwork.
* Comply with all DVSA regulations and company procedures.
* Maintain a professional approach when representing our client.
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
* Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
* Comfortable with nights away and tramping.
* Reliable, flexible and safety-conscious.
