Duties
- Lead the development and execution of heavy haul brokerage strategies to expand market share and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts through proactive communication, logistics solutions, and outstanding customer service.
- Conduct carrier sourcing, onboarding, and relationship management to ensure reliable capacity for oversized and specialized freight shipments.
- Negotiate rates, with clients and carriers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Monitor shipment progress, handle issues proactively, and communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery timelines or delays.
Skills
- Proven experience in freight brokerage, specific to heavy haul, and trailer configuration knowledge
- Strong client relationship management skills and customer service excellence.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
