This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely pricing proposals for international air and ocean freight shipments. Working closely with sales, operations, and carrier partners, this role ensures competitive pricing while maintaining company profit margins and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare competitive import and export freight quotations for air, ocean, and multimodal shipments.
- Obtain and negotiate rates with ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, and overseas agents.
- Review customer RFQs and prepare pricing responses within required deadlines.
- Maintain and update carrier rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop pricing strategies that support new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure quoted services can be executed efficiently.
- Monitor market conditions and carrier pricing trends.
- Analyze freight costs and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Ensure all quotations comply with company policies and customer requirements.
- Provide administrative support for contract renewals and bid submissions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and overseas partners.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
- Experience preparing freight quotations for international air and/or ocean freight.
- Understanding of Incoterms, international shipping documentation, and freight forwarding processes.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with freight forwarding software is preferred.
