To support our continued growth and maintain the highest standards of service and operational excellence, we are looking for a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist
with Sea Freight expertise to join our team in Istanbul.
Key Responsibilities (Import & Export)
- Transportation Management: Coordinate container planning (Import) and book freight space and containers with shipping lines, including freight rate negotiations (Export)
- Monitoring: Ensure continuous monitoring of bookings from the port of origin (Import) and manage the entire operational process from booking to final delivery (Export)
- Systems & Port Platforms: Confidently use common logistics portals and digital port systems (German Ports and Portbase)
- Coordination: Schedule pre-carriage transport and loading times with the company’s warehouse as well as external service providers and carriers
- Customs: Apply basic knowledge of customs clearance and shipping documentation (e.g., preparation or creation of Export Accompanying Documents – ABD)
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or completed vocational qualification in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Fluent English (C1-C2) or German skills are required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export logistics, sea freight, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Hands-on experience with import/export processes, shipment coordination, and transportation planning
- Basic knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in an international team
