Role Description
Tractor Beam Express is seeking motivated Independent Freight Agents to join our growing team.
This is a 100% commission-based remote opportunity. Whether you already have an established book of business or are looking to build one from the ground up, you’ll have access to our carrier network, operational resources, and back-office support while maintaining the independence to grow your business your way.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with shippers and carriers.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
- Grow and maintain an existing book of business, if applicable.
- Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers.
- Coordinate freight from pickup through delivery.
- Monitor shipments and communicate proactively with customers.
- Resolve transportation issues professionally.
- Work closely with our operations team to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, or sales experience preferred.
- Existing book of business is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Customer service and relationship-building experience.
