About the role
This is an entry-level position within an air freight export operations team, focused on shipment documentation and monitoring. It's well suited to someone looking to build a long-term career in international logistics, with opportunities to move into commercial or customer-facing roles within 3–5 years.
Key responsibilities
- Create and issue Air Waybills (AWBs)
- Book export shipments with airlines
- Monitor shipments from departure to destination
- Prepare and check export documentation
- Liaise with airlines, warehouses, customers, and overseas agents
- Ensure shipments comply with customer and regulatory requirements
- Resolve shipment issues and keep customers informed
Requirements
- Fluent English, Dutch is a plus
- VGB security screening eligibility (required)
- Good attention to detail
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Interest in logistics or international trade
- No previous air freight experience required – training provided
