Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. In this role, you’ll operate heavy-duty dump trucks, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials, debris removal, and other freight loads.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated locations.
- Follow prescribed routes and schedules for route driving, maintaining punctuality and reliability throughout the workday.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other operational data in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with loading or unloading freight when necessary, supporting team efforts to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and route adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience with dump trucks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle operation; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong understanding of route driving principles and the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules or conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
