Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Ikeja. The Driver will be responsible for operating trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods between warehouses, ports, and customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include vehicle inspection, loading and securing cargo, following delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate delivery and mileage records. The role involves adhering to all traffic and company safety regulations, coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams, and providing professional, courteous service to clients. The Driver may also assist with basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks safely.
  • Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and a clean driving record.
  • Candidates should possess solid Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with dispatch teams and clients.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with basic truck operations, safety procedures, and route planning.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of local and regional road networks, ability to read maps or use GPS, reliability in time management, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience in logistics, freight, or transport operations and the ability to lift and move cargo as required are advantageous.
