Dispatcher Jobs in Anderson, IN at Private Fleet Backhaul
Title: Dispatcher
Company: Private Fleet Backhaul
Location: Anderson, IN
Company Description Private Fleet Backhaul (PFBH) is a fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) company that connects underutilized backhaul capacity from private fleets with high-volume shippers. Instead of relying on load boards or transactional spot markets, PFBH focuses on structured, repetitive freight lanes that offer predictability and efficiency for all partners. The company manages every shipment as the sole point of contact, overseeing communication, status updates, transportation management system (TMS) requirements, administrative tasks, and issue resolution. In 2012, PFBH successfully coordinated over 23,000 loads by leveraging synergies between private fleets and shippers. Team members join a collaborative environment centered on reliability, service, and long-term logistics solutions.
Role Description The Dispatcher role is a full-time hybrid position based in Anderson, IN, with some flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for coordinating daily freight movements, scheduling and dispatching loads, and ensuring that private fleet partners and shippers are aligned on routes, timing, and requirements. The Dispatcher monitors shipment status, updates TMS records, and proactively communicates any changes, delays, or issues to all stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include confirming load details, resolving operational challenges, and maintaining accurate documentation for each shipment throughout its life cycle. The role requires consistent collaboration with internal teams and external partners to support efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
