Location: Town of Gates
Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.
Tucker Door & Trim boasts an ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers making regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and DC.
We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers and want you to join our team of drivers who have lifelong careers with us.
Responsibilities
Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues; perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections.
Ensure that delivery schedules are adhered to as scheduled.
Retain all necessary documents for each trip.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods).
Ensure compliance with Tucker Door & Trim safety and company policies.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations.
Skills
18 months of proven truck driving experience within the last 36 months.
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software.
No major moving or driving violations within the last year.
18 months of Class A commercial driving experience.
